Stacia Sheputa joined 90 West in the summer of 2025. Prior to joining 90 West, she served as the Director of Communications for the City of Boston’s Environment, Energy and Open Space Cabinet, where she led communications strategies focused on enhancing climate resilience, decarbonization, environmental justice, and the City’s Green New Deal. 

As the Director of Communications, Stacia shaped high-impact media campaigns, managed crisis communications, and produced digital content that reached millions. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability and brings a deep commitment to making climate science accessible and actionable through storytelling.

Prior to joining the City of Boston’s Environment Cabinet, Stacia worked as the Associate Press Secretary for former Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh and later became the Digital Media Manager. In this role, Stacia led the digital communications strategy during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, a critical time for digital and crisis communications. She also produced media materials and prepared the Mayor for interviews and public events. 

Originally from Stoughton, Massachusetts, Stacia holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas and Universidad Católica del Oeste in Angers, France.
