Katherine Sele joined 90 West in the summer of 2022 after graduating from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies with an emphasis on Political Communication and Law.

She previously worked in the Community Engagement Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office under Maura Healey leading informational trainings for the public and promoting their Healthy Summer Youth Jobs initiative. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked with empowerHER, a Boston-based nonprofit that provides community and nurturance for young girls that have lost a mother, to help build their transition into virtual advocacy. Her political communications background comes from her work with WAVE, Women for American Values and Ethics, as their Communications Specialist leading their social media and press campaigns to support progressive federal, state, and local candidates in Orange County, California.

Originally from Southern California, Katherine is now based in New York City, after seven years in Boston.
