Antonio Caban joined 90 West in 2023 as Associate Vice President, bringing with him over a decade of experience in communications strategy for state government and award-winning storytelling in print and television journalism.

Before 90 West, Antonio served as Deputy Communications Director to Massachusetts Senate President Karen E. Spilka. As spokesperson and strategic advisor on media relations, he advanced the work of the Senate through dynamic campaigns that weaved together impactful stories, policy, and multimedia promotion. While on Beacon Hill, he worked collaboratively across all three branches of government to roll out groundbreaking legislation, including the Student Opportunity Act, Next Generation Climate Roadmap, and Mental Health ABC Act.

Antonio started his career as a television producer at WTEN/WXXA in Albany, New York, before moving to Boston, where he worked as a producer for WHDH, multimedia specialist for State House News Service, and producer for GBH's Beat the Press with Emily Rooney and Greater Boston with Jim Braude. At GBH, Antonio and his production team earned two consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Interview and Production Program for Beat the Press in 2018 and 2019.

Born in Brazil and raised in upstate New York, Antonio now calls the Merrimack Valley home, where he lives with his family. He holds a master's degree in political management from The George Washington University and a bachelor's in communications from The College of Saint Rose. He is also a proud community college graduate with an associate's degree in broadcast communications from Hudson Valley Community College. Antonio also serves as co-chair of the New Frontier Network at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation and on the board of The Latino Newsletter.
