Antonio Caban is a strategic communications professional and trusted advisor to leaders in government, advocacy, nonprofit, and the private sector. As Vice President at 90 West, he leverages nearly two decades of experience in media, state government, and political campaigns to help clients navigate complex public affairs and policy environments. 

Before joining 90 West, Antonio served as Deputy Communications Director for State Senate President Karen E. Spilka. In this role, he served as the Office’s chief spokesperson and lead advisor on high-stakes legislative campaigns, including the Student Opportunity Act, Next Generation Climate Roadmap, and mental health care and police reform efforts. Prior to his time in state government, he worked for nearly a decade as a print and television journalist. Antonio holds two New England Emmy Awards for his work as a producer on GBH News's Beat the Press. 

He holds a master's degree in political management from The George Washington University, a bachelor's degree in communications from The College of Saint Rose, and an associate's degree from Hudson Valley Community College. A frequent guest lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Antonio also serves as co-chair of the New Frontier Network at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Foundation and on the board of The Latino Newsletter. Named to the ALX100 2025 cohort by We Are ALX—recognizing 100 outstanding Latino leaders in Massachusetts—Antonio, a native of Brazil, now calls the Merrimack Valley home, where he lives with his family.
